Dale Seeds teaches at the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, where he serves as Professor of Theatre and Dance and chair of the Film Studies Program. He received his Ph.D. in Theatre from Kent State University, with an emphasis in design criticism. In addition to design fundamentals, he teaches coursework in indigenous and multicultural theatre and film.
Dale has designed scenery and/or lighting for over 200 productions of theatre, dance and opera, including works for Porthouse Theatre, Kent State University, The Memphis Ballet, The Ohio Light Opera, The Eastman School of Music, The University of Alaska, Fairbanks, The University of Texas/Dallas and The Abbey
Theatre of Dublin, Ireland. Dale is currently a visual artist working with the Dallas based theatre collective, Dead White Zombies.
He is excited to return in the role of scenic designer for this innovative production of Next to Normal. His productions with CAMEO include scenic designs for The King and I, Oklahoma, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Women, Rent and West Side Story, and Godspell.
